(1) Motivation/vision - Divorce rate about 50% of American marriages. Through research of over 100 cases of marital problems, it is hard to find a martial counseling based on the Bible, but most of them on psychological basis, even Christian named cases, some on legal basis, some on medical basis, and a few on financial basis. The researched counseling was not focused on God, but often on self-esteem/self-confidence, easily reaching divorce. Why not Bible basis counseling even if the Lord is the wonderful counselor? So, Staff or Dr. Wayne, who is a biblical counselor as an ordained pastor, is motivated to seek the Counsel of God and has a vision to help counseled person(s) to seek His counsel to solve his/her/their marital problem, even if Staff or Dr. Wayne is not perfect.

(2) Counsel of God – Seeking the counsel of God from the Bible other than human counsels – Psychological, Medical, Legal, Financial counsel, or anything else. God is Almighty Sovereign God, that His counsel is neither formulated nor limited by any human thoughts, even extremely advanced human thoughts, because infinite God the creator is incomparible with finite human beings the creatures.

(3) Plain/Simple– By “bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5b), if any human thought, such as psychological, medical, legal, financial thought, or any other human thought, is helpful to understand the plain word of God, it is simply acceptable, but if it is contrary to the word of God, it should be simply cast down.

(4) Helper/Doer – Staff or Dr. Wayne is just one who helps, while a counseled individual or couple alone is one who does. Staff or Dr. Wayne is just a helper to seek the counsel of God not only in general but in particular. Staff or Dr. Wayne is helping a counseled individual or couple alone as a doer to seek and do/practice the counsel of God.

(5) Confidential/Decision – A counseled individual or couple has a privilege to keep a private communication during this counseling to be confidential under the clergy-penitent privilege unless a counseled individual or couple consents to reveal it or it is contrary to an applicable Federal and/or State law. Given applicable/practical words of God from the Bible (Written BMC), an individual or a couple alone has to decide which word to act/practice flexibly by the work of the Spirit.

(6) TM/Dr. - Trade Mark("TM") protects the Biblical Marital Counseling (BMC) from a compromise between the Bible and others such as self-esteem, materialism, commercialism, secularism…etc. For this protection, Dr. Wayne Kim is described as "Dr." title used in the community of marital counseling practices, like Paul's motivation "though I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so," (Philippians 3:4), although "Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ." (Philippians 3:8).

(7) Free Service & Tax Deductible Donation – The fee may be reasonably determined in the community within 30 miles of Anaheim Hills, but the fee is free because our Lord gave His life freely for us. Donation to the Lord through CCAH is exhorted, which is tax deductible, because BMC is an auxiliary of CCAH.
